Position Overview
This is a position for a postdoctoral researcher interested in perinatal mental health disparities in the Latinx population
Duties and Responsibilities
This person will serve be a postdoctoral research assistant in a cultural perinatal mental health laboratory focused on mental health disparities in Latinx populations. This person will participate in and initiate multiple long-term and short-term research projects.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• PhD or advanced degree in a psychology, biological or biomedical-related field
• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly the Latinx population
· Be fluent in Spanish
• Proven track record of effective technical training and oversight
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate various projects with multiple short
and long-term endpoints
• Ability to prepare, comprehend, and comply with regulatory
requirements
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to maintain strong
work ethic
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Experience with managing/supervising and training of undergraduate/student
· Experience working with children and families
• Experience in troubleshooting behavioral equipment and
associated computer programs
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, SPSS, GraphPad, Prism,
Department Psychology
