Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the University Press director, provides standard & routine clerical & administrative support which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies, opening & sorting mail, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, &/or preparing agendas and minutes for staff meetings, scheduling meetings and special events.
The position will provide support for press departments, including verifies income and/or expense for press conferences and events; enters, tracks, & maintains documentation & logs of financial transactions; ensures that charges have posted to appropriate accounts, assists with reconciliation of accounts, reviews budget statements, offers royalty support for the finance director.
The position will manage and coordinate the press director's calendar and coordinate travel arrangements and receipts.

The target budgeted minimum starting rate for this position is $16.55 per hour. Offers will be based on candidate experience and education, as well as equity within Northwestern University.
