Job Brief
The Mechanical/Electrical Programmer performs preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment. Monitoring, programming, and upgrading of all PLC’s and computer-generated operating systems.
JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual)
- Provide technical capabilities required to maintain the facility programming systems and general mechanical operations.
- Maintain and comply with all company and OSHA required safety regulations.
- Maintain and upgrade all electrical programming systems.
- Maintain and upgrade facility electrical wiring systems.
- Provide assistance to mechanical operation of all equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Document all activity for MP2 recording.
- Comply with company’s general operating policies.
- Comply with all GMP’s.
- Follow all Food Safety and GMP Policies.
