About the Opportunity:

TheZurn Elkay Rapids Program is a three-year intense program that involves three unique, 12-month assignments across Zurn Elkay's businesses and locations. Possible assignments:

Commercial Business Development:

  • Create strategic account management plans built around account growth strategies, price management, product conversion initiatives and marketing opportunities
  • Create and manage a pipeline of opportunities and deliver profitable sales targets established

Product Management:

  • Lead the strategic business plan for product category or accounts in collaboration with other key cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify and execute specific new product development projects and other key business initiatives in support of the strategic plan and business roadmap
  • Manage existing product line portfolio and recommend product changes, additions, discontinuations, and cost reductions to produce best ongoing cost position

Continuous Improvement (Zurn Elkay Business System):

  • Ensure successful definition and execution of large, cross-functional improvement initiatives tied to annual strategic priorities around operations or supply chain
  • Directly support teams to achieve strategic deployment objectives by conducting on-site workshops, kaizen events and providing guidance through the lean transformation process

This year's program will begin inJune 2023.

Locations:

Rotation flexibility is an important component of this program as assignments could include opportunities at Zurn Elkay facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania or elsewhere in the US. Relocation assistance is provided during each rotation as needed. Due to the nature of the work most assignments are required to be in person while some commercial sales positions require high travel.

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree with 3.2 or above GPA; Master's degree is a plus
  • At least four years of solid relevant business experience in product management, business development or continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated excellence; consistently performing beyond expectations, embracing opportunities to take on greater responsibility and rising to meet the challenge
  • Commitment to sustainable solutions through our products, our business systems and our people
  • Superior business judgment and financial acumen; effective analytic and integrative thinking; strong leadership skills, including project ownership
  • Experience thriving in environments that require agility, fast-pace and resourcefulness
  • Possess a proven track record where you demonstrated expertise, consistently delivering tangible results that positively influenced the success of your employer
  • Proven ability to achieve results through teamwork and developing others
  • Willingness to travel or relocate during and upon completion of the program
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now and in the future

Compensation:

Zurn Elkay provides a highly competitive, above market total rewards package for this program including salary, bonus, long-term incentives, medical, PTO, 401k and student loan repayment up to $50k.
