Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the West Bend, Wisconsin office, the Personal Lines Associate Actuary is a hybrid position that autonomously directs and participates in rate setting and pricing decision-making. Build models and select appropriate assumptions. Review loss reserves. Analyze and develop statistical summaries of company results. Advocate appropriate rate level changes. Provide actuarial justification for company filing activities. Review and interpret statistical data to assist in the planning of corporate activities.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• 6 years actuarial experience in the property/casualty insurance industry
• Understanding of data structures & queries
• Oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Advanced Analytical skills
• Negotiation skills

Preferred Education and Training:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field
• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society
