This Information Security Risk Analyst role with Associated Bank will be Responsible for assisting in design, measurement, tracking and reporting of risk management activities within Information Security and conducting assessments and partnering in process improvement activities. Assist in oversight of the enterprise Information Governance (Records Management) program by collaborating with business leadership, Information Technology, and other Corporate Support Units. This position performs analysis on risk related statistics, risk reports and compliance/audit findings. Helps identify methods and sources to obtain relevant risk data by partnering with Information Security stakeholders. Reviews raw data reports to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy with follow-up on any data irregularities. Prepares graphs and trend analysis for key risk reporting and performs other research and data functions as assigned.

This person will:

  • Performs risk assessments and control validation testing to identify risks and the evaluate the effectiveness of countermeasures
  • Obtains relevant risk information, perform analysis and reports results to key stakeholders
  • Participates in, and provides critical challenge to, Information Security processes
  • Supports Records Information Management program.

Education

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required

Experience

  • 2-4 years Data management experience with at least 2 years within the financial services industry. Knowledge of banking industry products and some knowledge of regulatory requirements. Required
  • 4-7 years 5+ years of data management or risk management experience within the financial services discipline Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Other CRISC, CISM, or CGEIT within 2 years, Preferred
