Software Development Engineer in Test III

Position:

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)has advanced in-depth software programming and technical expertise in several disciplines or product lines. The SDET leads complex tests, tools design, development, and white box testing. Analyze complex code changes for developing test strategy across several products in a highly efficient manner using innovative approaches. The SDET Participates in software architecture design discussions. Often serves as a technical resource to and mentors less experienced personnel. Possesses advanced debugging, development, and test automation code tools review skills. Often leads projects from the testing focused viewpoint.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain automated tests end to end for our product portfolio in DevOps environment.
  • Designs, develops, and executes manual/automated software test strategies, plans, and test cases
  • Participate in requirement, code, and test reviews to meet best practices for HIPAA and Security concerns.
  • Knowledge and understanding of typical multi-tier application architecture (presentation, service, data).
  • Identify software problems during testing, determine steps to reproduce them, and enter them into a defect-tracking tickets with detailed troubleshooting.
  • Build clear, concise, and complete test-related documentation
  • Collaborate with the development team to deliver comprehensive solutions in fast paced environment.

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years hands-on experience with automation frameworks
  • 4+ years of experience in .NET or C# or any object-oriented programming language
  • 1+ years of AWS or any cloud experience
  • Expert knowledge in relational databases
  • Expert in debugging and reviewing software application code
  • Expert in testing database integration issues, CI/CD pipeline.
  • Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a Kanban/Scrum/Agile environment, CI/CD and DevOps.
  • Proficiency in any of the following tools: Jira, Zephyr, GitHub, Junit, Jenkins, Postman, SOAPUI.
  • Self-driven and continuous learning, innovative mindset.
