Brown & Joseph, LLC is a nationally licensed collection agency located in the Chicagoland suburbs. We are rapidly growing and need additional help with sales and business development to support our leading-edge technology and innovative solutions. Our expansion is a result of our superior results and world class service for our existing clients. Our services are catered to Insurance Carriers. We are a well-established firm providing collection consultation for more than 20 years.

We are looking for a result driven Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from lead generation through to close. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals and meet client's expectations. Work experience and a network of contacts within the ARM industry are desirable. Preferably within the P&C insurance industry. To have success you need to be able to sell and close clients over the phone and in person. The right person will be able to learn our business, understand our success differentiators and communicate Brown & Joseph's value proposition that has recognized Brown & Joseph as the preferred vendor of choice.

Experience:

  • Prospecting, talking with clients, meeting clients face to face, attend conferences
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Excellent listening, negotiation presentation skills
  • A strong working understanding of selling collection solutions
  • Demonstrated success in ability to cold call for prospects
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ability to travel as required

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies
  • Schedule sales activity
  • Develop and maintain a customer database
  • Plan and conduct direct marketing activities
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
    follow up on sales activity
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Requirements

  • Communication, Interpersonal and Negotiation skills
  • The ability to multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers
  • Proven working experience as sales associate
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
  • Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients' requirements are met
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers
  • Possess strong selling and customer service skills
  • Exudes high energy and positive attitude
