External Job Description

In this Maintenance Technician role, you will be an integral part of the Operational team, responsible for performing preventative maintenance per preventative maintenance program. In this role, you will be assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor to complete minor repairs such as patching holes, painting, repairs, furniture, doorknobs, locks, and clearing obstructions in drains and toilets. Repairs to washers, dryers, dishwashers, and small appliance will also be required. You will be responsible for clearing driveways and sidewalks of snow using appropriate materials to safeguard against slipping on ice. This position also requires that you make repairs as needed without instruction and may complete purchase orders ensuring receipts are obtained.

In this role you will:

• Assists with vehicle home or facility inspections as directed
• Assists in pest control as required
• Replaces light bulbs and cover plates
• Assists with any vehicle repair
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

You are a self-motivated and flexible team player. You take pride in your knowledge of preventative maintenance care. You have the ability to work in a home-like setting. You have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid state driver's license.
