The MIT Program is an accelerated, entry-level position designed to prepare team members for a Community Manager position. The position will be based in Naples, FL, and then relocation will be a requirement of this role upon completion of program, where you will have the opportunity to manage your own community.

The program will focus on each facet of our business from customer-centric sales, building the community's brand and reputation, attracting and retaining satisfied residents, to operating within a budget to meet financial goals. You will learn to oversee a multi-million-dollar business alongside one of our Community Managers who will be your direct supervisor.

What You Will Learn:

Sales and Marketing:

  • Manage the leasing process, identifying the needs of potential residents and addressing those needs to close the sale
  • Demonstrate an understanding of pricing, floor plans, amenities, and other offerings the community provides while touring prospects
  • Use your creativity to assist with social media advertising, outreach marketing and resident events

Customer Experience:

  • Meet with current and prospective residents to address issues

Financial Acumen:

  • Manage accounting and financial matters (e.g., collecting rent, posting payments, processing final account statements, updating monthly financial statements, and managing delinquencies)
  • Develop and manage the operating income/expense budgets

Leadership:

  • Hire, develop, and motivate your team, promoting high levels of engagement and continued growth and development
  • Oversee the performance of the community and the well-being of residents

What It Takes:

  • Bachelor's degree or managerial experience in lieu of degree required
  • Prior Work Experience in sales, finance, marketing, or customer service
  • Ability to relocate for this role, as well as future roles
  • Able to work a flexible schedule which will include evenings and weekends
