Role and Responsibilities The Marketing Intern is responsible for providing support to both the Sales & Marketing Associate and other Sales team members. The position entails data entry into CRM system, Direct Mailings, Organizing Quotes for Customers, Social Media Planning & Content Creation and Direct Cold Call Emails.
Marketing Intern Will be Required to:
Review and interpret Meeting Notes, Call Notes and Customer Website Inquiry’s into Advanced Plating Technologies CRM System.
Daily and Weekly Direct Mail or Marketing Materials to Potential and Existing Contacts and Customers
Organizing Sales Quotes into Filing System Daily and Weekly
Social Media Content Schedule and Potential Weekly Postings
Collecting and Responding to Website Inquiries for Potential Sales Leads
Emailing Existing Leads/Cold Leads through CRM
Qualifications and Education Requirements The candidate should have advanced knowledge and mastery of MS Excel. No marketing or sales experience is required. Efficient with PowerPoint and Microsoft Tools. Experience with all social media platforms.
Preferred Skills Highly organized, detail oriented with motivation for sales-focused marketing and process support. Excellent written and good verbal communicator in a customer service role. Energetic and outgoing self-starter that possesses the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit the majority of the day and walk distances of up to 100 meters between buildings out of doors. The employee will spend extensive time computing and organizing Quotes and sales documents. The employee must periodically lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a climate controlled, office environment approximately 80% of the time. Up to 20% of the work can be completed remotely using a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
