Pump Pros, a division of FCX Performance/an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading processflow-control company has a new position!As an Inside Sales Representative, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team. You will spend your time interacting with customers, determining their process flow control and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully sell company products and services to customers by creating quotes for inquiries sent in by Outside Sales or directly from the customer.
  • Oversee sales orders that you enter from time of order entry to order shipment.
  • Be strategic, extremely organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory.
  • Process and expedite orders, customer returns and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner with efficiency in vendor follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Sourcing and getting quotes from vendors, effectively handle correspondences from customers and fielding calls from customers as well as assisting the outside sales team.
  • Size and select pumps to solve application needs presented by customers/Outside Sales.
  • Read and review customer requests for project proposals, interpret technical specifications, and develop proposals in coordination with the outside sales team. Proposal responsibilities include cover letters, bill of materials, cost work up, pricing, exceptions, clarifications, etc.
  • Manage project orders to include order entry, purchasing, supplier/vendor document development and delivery, document control, delivery scheduling and communication of project details with the customer.


Position Requirements:

  • Inside Sales background within the industrial marketplace preferred.
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales!
  • Mechanically inclined and critical thinking ability.
  • Computer proficiency including MS office.
  • Epicor P21 a plus!

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with an engineering background preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years' experienceas an Inside Technical Sales role with an Industrial Distributor preferred.
  • Experience in the flow control industry a plus!
