As an Account Executive representing our B2B group within the division, you will be responsible for growing annual revenue sales by selling imagePROGRAF wide format products, systems, software and services through indirect sales channels such as: Resellers, VAR, OEM, Systems Integrators, Alliances, Partners and Aggregators. You will be responsible for representing Canon to the Channel in all sales and sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, training and other Channel-related support.

The assigned territory will include Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana and Idaho. Successful candidate must live in a West Coast city in the United States and live within a reasonable distance to a major airport. Job requires up to 70% weekly overnight travel.

We will rely on your selling skills to achieve monthly channel sales targets. Customer service and problem resolution are essential talents. Solid business communications, time management and account planning skills are necessary. Your ability to pro-actively interface and engage with field leadership and field sales on a continuous basis is crucial to the implementation of the channel's strategic plans. Your presentation and account management skills will be called upon to develop and grow the relationship between Canon USA. Inc. and our resellers in this territory. Responsibilities
    Grow annual sales
  • Identify, qualify, recruit and support new resellers
  • Market and Sell Canon and Canon imagePROGRAF products to resellers, resellers' staff and end user
  • Train, acclimate, and support the reseller's sales and support staff to Canon's imagePROGRAF products, programs, software and services
  • Provide support and guidance for product launches, trade shows, open houses, and presentations to major accounts
  • Develop local strategies to promote each reseller's sales growth of imagePROGRAF printers to end user, and must understand the business dynamics of P&L, staffing, administration, service, support and inventory models
  • Implement and administer a Canon imagePROGRAF printer strategy to gain mindshare and buy in among resellers that fosters and promotes long term growth of the channel
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required and minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Requires sales experience in office equipment (software and/or solutions)
  • Outside sales experience in selling office, commercial and/or industrial products (office equipment sales experience and/or reseller sales experience)
  • Knowledge of wide format technology preferred
  • This job requires up to 70% weekly overnight travel, requires driving and or flying for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
