What we're looking for:

About you:

We are searching for an energetic and enthusiastic project manager to join the Controllership organization at Citrix. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects while utilizing the Controllership Project Team methodology. You must have excellent communication skills and knowledge in Accounting Information Systems. This position will report to the Controllership Programs Team.

About the role:

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from Intake through Hypercare/Closing following the Controllership Programs Team methodology

  • Define scope, objectives, and critical business requirements

  • Create and maintain a detailed Project Plan

  • Coordinate completion of project deliverables across internal and external resources ensuring projects stay on track, within scope, budget, and schedule constraints

  • Track and assess project progress; and, when necessary, make project adjustments or proactively escalate any roadblocks to success

  • Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders

  • Track and report project costs against budget

  • Proactively manage risks and implement mitigation plans

  • Consistently provide project status updates to project stakeholders

  • Document and report lessons learned for use on future projects

  • Monitor project performance to identify issues and measure success

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or related field

  • 3-5 years project management and related experience

  • Experience in accounting including knowledge of regulatory standards, industry concepts, financial close, financial reporting, financial operations, and accounting information systems

  • Experience in a matrixed organization and leading cross-functional teams

  • Excellent analytical and influential skills

  • Proven ability to complete projects on time, on budget and within scope parameters

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels

  • Familiarity with project management systems, tools, methodologies, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's in related field, e.g., Accounting

  • PMP or related project management certification, e.g., Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum

  • Tax and Audit Accounting experience

  • Understanding of Order to Cash and Record to Report processes

  • SaaS or software implementation experience

  • History of leading system integration projects

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel

  • Indirect leadership experience
