Germantown Mutual Insurance Company is looking to add Claim Representatives to its team!

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking Claim Representatives with a variety of backgrounds. Specifically, we are looking for individuals with property, auto, and/or casualty experience who would like to join a talented team of claims associates in a supportive and friendly environment. We are looking for both field and in-office adjusters to handle moderate to complex claims.

JOB DUTIES
- Investigates personal, commercial, property, auto, and/or casualty claims as assigned by supervisor.
- Secures, preserves, and maintains all evidence necessary to complete a thorough claim investigation in accordance with company guidelines.
- Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with departmental expectations.
- Manages individual claim inventory and collaborates with peers to achieve department results.
- Communicates directly with customers in a positive, pro-active manner throughout the claim's lifecycle.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Insurance designation is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Valid Driver's License
