Uses data analytics to support the Energy Solutions business unit. Manages master data sets, develops reports, and troubleshoots data issues. Is responsible for analyzing data for trends that impact sales performance; and makes recommendations for maximizing profitability.
Manages master data, including creation, updates, and deletion within the reporting database
Provides quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary
Creates, analyses and troubleshoots data visualizations, dashboards, and system reports.
Trains end-users on new reports and dashboards
Commissions and decommissions data sets
Supports initiatives for data integrity and normalization
Researches competitive pricing models and value drivers
Works with cross-functional teams to further refine overall processes, and develop special programs
Analyze data for recommendations on margin fluctuations due to cost and overhead variances to maximize profit
Perform other duties as assigned
Expert skill set level in excel
Strong skills in data visualization, developing reports and analyzing data to problem solve
Ability to gather data from a number of different sources for pricing modeling
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, solid organization and documentation skills for audit reporting
Understanding of product specifications, bills of materials and their interrelations
Well-developed understanding of foreign currencies and their effect on pricing
Good written and verbal communication skills
High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases and data sets
Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Minimum of three years experience in a data analysis, configuration, and report solutions
Experience conducting data analysis, configuration, and report solutions
Experience working with cloud based data visualization technologies and analytical software systems
Knowledge of Data quality and Metadata tools and processes with exposure to Data Governance preferred
Experience working in DOMO or Tableau preferred
