OurAccount Executivesare Market Experts that help solve problems in systematic ways. Account Executives employ a consultative sales approach to assist customers using our specialty raw materials (antioxidants, UV inhibitors, anti-block, flame retardants and others)

How you Contribute:

  • Manage a territory of accounts consisting of ChemPoint's strategic customers in the plastics manufacturing industry
  • Uncover and evaluate customer needs and address them if possible with ChemPoint's specialty product/service offerings
  • Highlight key gaps in specialty product offering as near term supplier acquisition targets
  • Forecast customer demand, address competitive situations, and implement ChemPoint marketing plans to maximize territory growth
  • Conduct targeted prospecting using a variety of resources.

Skills and Background:

  • Four-year degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, marketing, business or other related discipline.
  • Three or more years of strategic account management experience (plastics raw material sales experience is a plus).
  • Formal sales training or equivalent experience in consultative sales.
