The Howard Company is seeking a digital designer to join our graphics department in Brookfield, WI. This individual will conceptualize and design indoor and outdoor menu boards for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background in branding, creative concept development and layout. This individual will be able deliver great work, within set timelines and on budget, while maintaining the client's strategy, brand, and direction.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

-Conceptualize, design and produce exciting, on-brand projects including print, digital and motion designs.

-Keep up to date on industry trends and maintain a high level of conceptual design and layout
-Collaborate creatively with team members to ensure designs promote and develop the client's brand ad meet sales objectives
-Work with and evolve client's brand standards and guidelines
-Drive the creative process and champion great ideas
-Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines within established budgets.
-Work on projects assigned. Includes setting and correcting artwork with or from the Design Department, designing or reproduce logos, figuring best possible output options and setting artwork up accordingly including revising layouts for existing accounts as needed
-Work samples required (Digital portfolio required with resume)

-Strong technical abilities, including the aptitude to learn new software quickly.

-Work with content management software to deploy digital designs for a large book of diverse clients, and train clients on software use.

-Digital template creation.

-0-3 years' experience in graphic design or bachelor's in graphic design

-Understanding of print production processes, excellent communication skills, time management and organizational skills.

-Strong Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator required. After Effects a plus. Product and scene renderings a plus (Photoshop/illustrator)
-Knowledge of creating and working with templates and style sheets
-Exceptional attention to detail.
