Job Description

BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT Works cross-functionally to drive client strategies and grow advertising partnerships. Uses strong communication skills, customer oriented mindset and digital media experience to tell the story of Kohl's Media Network's key differentiators in the marketplace.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

DRIVE CLIENT STRATEGIES

  • Leads the Kohls Media Network Go-To-Market sales approach, selling market-leading media strategies and innovative solutions that exceed our clients' needs
  • Drives sales across multiple platforms with a focus on mid-to-large brand and performance advertisers and their agencies
  • Presents strategic recommendations based on client's key objectives, through compelling and effective guidance on specific media tactics and creative inputs
  • Understands category trends, marketing needs and offers authorship and inputs for client campaign proposals
  • Arranges and participates in internal and external client debriefs
  • Develops selling strategies and secures category funding for omni-channel products (onsite, external media, in-store, app)
  • Develops multi-channel, integrated marketing approaches across digital channels and platforms, aids with troubleshooting and problem solving internal and external issues.
  • Assists in building client campaign proposals and present strategic recommendations that are aligned to client's priorities and objectives and rooted in category / brand insight and historical media performance.
  • Provides a high level of customer service, with timely and effective communication
  • Accountable for category sales revenue and setting goals and priorities across brands and vendors.

MAINTAIN EXTERNAL AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Partners closely with various cross-functional teams; including but not limited to the Merchant organization, Marketing Reporting & Analytics, Media, Program Management and Category Marketing
  • Maintains deep and lasting relationships with key accounts, clients and external partners

DEVELOP ENGAGED, HIGH-PERFORMING ASSOCIATES AND TEAMS

  • Leads by example in demonstrating Kohl's values
  • Build, lead and develop a team of associates who partner with Kohl's brands to aggressively drive growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to drive results and company objectives
  • Create an effective environment through common vision, setting clear objectives, fostering teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 3-5 years of proven digital media planning, marketing or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of ad serving, Ad Networks and overall digital media landscape
  • Exceptional understanding of a campaign lifecycle -from strategy and plan development to execution.
  • Ability to influence (have a voice) and lead a diverse team
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and maximize relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work within a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to present effectively, confidently, and persuasively to both internal and external audiences.
  • Innovative, strategic thinker
  • Good breadth of sales experience, coupled with the structure and organizational skills needs to lead a new dedicated sales team
  • Ability and passion to drive results and thrives in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently
