At Clarios, our interns will:
Apply their educational experience to solve actual real-world business problems
Obtain exposure to industry leaders
Learn directly from functional experts by having weekly 1:1 mentoring conversations related to career development
Develop a comprehensive understanding of specific team and department initiatives and goal
Develop and expand functional, technical and soft skills
Learn about Clarios' broad portfolio of products and services through field experience
Travel toClarios manufacturing plants to provide perspective into production and operations
Attend customized trainings and additional workshops focused on career development and networking
Collaborate with peers and present findings at the conclusion of the internship to the Clarios executive leadership team
The Global Analytics organization builds, manages, and supports a foundation for data analytics and reporting capabilities across the organization. The team is critical in adapting data and evolving to support key business initiatives in order to drive insights and action. We help give users access to a data warehouse which is consistent and well-governed to support reports and dashboards globally. We pride out team in the ability to deliver complete solutions to help our customers achieve goals and see value.
In your role asanIT intern- Global Analytics,yuwill havethe opportunity to:
Citizen Developer Program Support-Enable analytical autonomy, improve access to the data and increase agility and maturity across the organization. Helps with driving communication & documentation for the program; Participates in regularly scheduled Citizen Developer Community sessions; Acts as a consultative resource
Delivery (exposure to business needs, use cases and requirements).Supports the large demand. The team averages 20-30 requests a month. Support here will help build communication with various business teams, develop functional business knowledge, and technical analytics skills. "Support working on Power BI dashboard builds & enhancements, documentation & requirementsgathering.
Support factory team reporting requirements and building techdocs; Supportsthe updates of the report catalog"
Data Governance (exposure to master data and data quality).Building a quality data catalog will help position the team and the organization for success. Aids into supporting the success of the Citizen Developer Program. Supporting the build of a data catalog & documentationgathering; Supportdata governance & quality activities, audits, and maintenance reviews.
Data Architecture (exposure to Snowflake, data models, data engineering, etc.). Fundamental to supporting all otheractivities. Need to understand where data is from and how the data is managed Shadow team and train on Snowflake tool and datamodels.
What We Look For:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
Excellent communication & organization skills
Self -Motivated with a desire to learn
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
High attention to detail
Time management skills
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple tasks
