Job Description

Summary

Assist in maintaining and optimizing the effectiveness of MWF's digital properties including, websites, email campaigns, digital screens, video content, social media channels and apps. Responsible for content creation, image editing, uploads, copy development and updates, template designs, web forms, and maintaining content calendars for multiple campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Knowledge of web publishing and content management systems, including some hands-on development work using HTML/CSS.
  • Strong copywriting skills for digital communications, including websites, email, and social. The position will create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice.
  • Coordinate concert, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
  • Create, edit, crop graphics for websites, emails, etc. Manage other related design needs such as presentations, video displays, etc.
  • Create and maintain content including emails, online surveys, blogs, online contest promotions, sales promotions, and other related content for the websites. Analyze and assist in the presentation of results.
  • Lead management of internal calendar of Marketing Department's digital content to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Research digital marketing trends to develop implementation ideas and plans for use at MWF.
  • Support graphic designer in management of digital advertising calendar and materials to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, team-oriented attitude and abide by all MWF Human Resources and Legal policies toward treatment of all MWF employees.
  • Complete all duties otherwise assigned.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Ability to update content using Content Management Systems and other technologies
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative (i.e. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience working with digital media disciplines (Display, Mobile, Video)
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage various projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Experience with marketing/advertising agencies, campaigns, websites, and databases
  • Functional knowledge of the special event business
  • Valid driver's license

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Communication, Marketing, or similar field of study.

Computer Skills

  • To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following software applications/packages: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, general knowledge of Content Management Systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with HTML & CSS. Working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, MySQL a plus.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company policies, budgets, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Foreign language skills are a plus.

  • Some travel may be required

  • Employee will frequently work overtime including evenings and weekends. Employee will be exposed to various weather conditions.
