Job Description
Kerber, Eck & Braeckel LLP is looking to add an accountant (CPA or CPA candidate) to service audit and tax clients. With room for growth and the potential for future partnership, this position is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant with great client relationship skills and ambitions of stability and upward career mobility. The clients that this position will be working with are high income individuals, small to mid-size business and large, upscale non-profit organizations. Interacting with clients, partners, managers, and providing expert supervision of the tax and audit process, this position, while busiest from the end of January to April, will require minimal overtime. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs diversified accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under the direction of a manager
• Keeps clients informed on the status of projects
• Interacts with partners as necessary
• Demonstrates competency in technical skills, work quality, and the application of professional & firm standards
• Directs and instructs assistants, where applicable, in work to be performed and working paper reviews
• Prepares and indexes working papers; performs various procedures established under accepted auditing standards to verify accuracy and validity of clients' GAAP financial matters
• Performs a broad range of tasks so that direct participation of managers or partners is kept to a minimum
• Possesses technical audit and tax knowledge

Requirements:
• Minimum 4 year degree in accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate
