Behavioral Health Translator

Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time, Behavioral Health Translator that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.
Responsibilities include: perform translation / transliterating services of oral and/or written communications between English and Spanish, answer inquiries from patients, community agencies, and individuals and interpret and explain words and phrases for meaning and appropriateness to Providers, teach translations method/ technique to SSCHC staff, assist in maintenance of records and data collections needed, assist with Provider administrative needs, assist client with follow-up activities.
Successful applicants will have fluency in formal Spanish and English, able to demonstrate translation certification or completion of related training, Medical Assistant background strongly preferred and knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in both Spanish and English.
