Job Description

MANAGER, CONTRACT SALES

How will you make an impact?

Reporting to the Director, Commercial Operations, the Manager, Contract Sales is responsible for leading the inside sales team responsible for 1) multi-modality imaging service contract renewals and warranty conversions in the direct to customer space.  Imaging services include, but are not limited to, the maintenance and repair of ultrasound, bone mineral densitometry, nuclear medicine, MRI, CT, and PET equipment.  This position is responsible for achieving sales at or above corporate market growth plans, increasing product revenue margins, developing high level relationships with key customers, and hiring and developing talent within the contract and inside sales organization

What will you do?

  • Leads the inside sales team to drive multi-modality imaging service contract renewals and warranty conversions in the direct to customer space.
  • Establishes Team Business Objectives and monitors performance
  • Coaches, trains, evaluates, and monitors customer service and inside sales performance.
  • Develops meaningful business relationships with key customers.
  • Maintains and reviews relevant metrics to drive sales performance  
  • Works proactively with Field Service and Commercial leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure health and sustainability of new and renewed agreements.
  • Analyzes pertinent market intelligence to assist in developing customer strategies to maximize domestic market penetration and provide management with market feedback, competitive activity/pricing, new competitive products, market trends, etc. 
  • Provide regular updates to Director, Commercial Operations including but not limited to competitive activity, market conditions, new product/service opportunities, quota achievement, and other customer relevant information.
  • Drives continuous improvement on all related processes to ensure standardization and simplification
  • Develops an organizational culture that focuses on continual improvement to relative to customer / client satisfaction levels and responsiveness.
  • Works closely with field service, commercial leaders, marketing, and commercial solutions to resolve issues.
  • Effectively manages and prioritizes sales projects with minimal supervision.
  • Sets and tracks sales targets and KPIs for the teams
  • Executes sales analysis, prepare sales reports, and suggest improvements
What can you “bring to the table”?
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field and one or more years of inside sales experience OR high school diploma or GED and five or more years of inside sales experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.  
  • Five years relevant sales operations experience with two years of actual customer sales preferred
  • Previous experience leading or managing inside sales teams.
  • Previous CRM experience
  • Strong focus on customer care and satisfaction. Proven ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrated organizational, project management, and time management skills reinforcing ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to interact effectively across all stakeholders, both internally and with external customers.
  • Ability to understand needs of customer and marketplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change through effective communication with our customers and internal employees.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement while working under pressure.
  • Proven experience meeting deadlines and customer commitments.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
