Initiate, develop and implement advanced process improvements to maintain robust process control and sustain high levels of quality in Snap-on manufacturing operations. The focus of this position will be on electro-plating, black oxide, waste treatment, vibratory finishing, and heat treating activities for the Milwaukee Plant.
Responsibilities
Maintain, support, coordinate, and provide technical expertise for all process activities in electro-plating, black oxide, waste treatment, vibratory finishing, heat treat, and related areas.
Work with multiple stakeholders to quickly resolve process problems.
Keep abreast of process technology advancements and implement efficiency/cost/quality improvements.
Initiate, develop, and implement new processes and capital equipment projects.
Ensure that appropriate process control testing and documentation is performed to maintain product integrity and ISO 9000/14000 compliance
Qualifications
Prefer Bachelor's Degree in related field (Mechanical/Environment/Chemical/Metallurgy)
Prefer Five years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work closely with shop and engineering personnel.
Ability to integrate a multitude of science, engineering and manufacturing techniques in the development of new processes and methods.
Ability to proficiently use and maintain lab equipment for the purpose of chemical and metallurgical analysis
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
