Come join Herzing University's Home Office team at our new downtown Milwaukee location! Herzing University's Home Office will be relocating from Menomonee Falls to downtown Milwaukee in January 2022. While the enrollment Services Assistant will work from our exciting new location, we are looking for this person to join our team today. As an Enrollment Services Assistant you'll be responsible for managing and approving incoming high school and college transcripts that are required for enrollment into the university or for awarding transfer credit. Additionally, you will manage the delivery of Herzing University official transcripts through digital and mail systems, and will be responsible for locating archived student records.

Once the initial training period has concluded, this position will be eligible for a hybrid schedule of in-person at the Home Office (Milwaukee) and occasional remote work based on business needs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Examine, verify, review, and approve incoming official college transcripts and high school proof-of-graduation.
  • Input proof-of-graduation approvals into the Herzing student information system to ensure new student matriculation. Ensure transfer credit evaluations are requested for all received transcripts.
  • Manage required admissions documents and provide reminders of upcoming deadlines
  • Manage delivery of all digital and printed Herzing official transcripts; issue official transcripts for student certification and licensure applications
  • Respond to student inquiries for information on ordering official transcripts, replacement diplomas, or award certificates. Provide customer service to address withheld transcripts.
  • Prepare and print mailings for academic award certificates and graduation materials
  • Manage incoming faxes and Herzing ticketing system for the receipt of incoming official transcripts.
  • Assist the Registration Department with entering approved transfer credit within the Herzing student information system.

Experience

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent with one year of relevant experience
