Summer Patent Engineer - Internship (2022)
Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking Summer Patent Engineers (a ten-week position) to join the Intellectual Property Department. We are seeking individuals with strong academic backgrounds and excellent written and oral communication skills. Our ideal candidates are eager to confront new challenges and responsibilities; take satisfaction in developing practical, winning solutions; value an environment where everyone is treated with mutual support and respect; and do their best work when functioning as part of a team. The position will entail working with Foley's patent agents and attorneys, as well as inventors from cutting edge companies as they seek patent protection on their latest innovations.
This position is for the following Foley offices: Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Madison, Milwaukee, Silicon Valley, and Washington, DC.
This position is open to all qualified candidates who will graduate in 2023 with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering (such as Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical), Physics, or a related field.
