Herzing University is searching for a Workforce Development Account Manager to contribute to enrollment growth and campus awareness by fostering workforce development-focused strategic partnerships with health care systems, corporations and community organizations. This is a remote position, however, this individual should reside in or around the Central Florida area to allow for building relationships with these important local groups.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner Development
  • Research and identify potential partnerships including maintaining an active pipeline of accounts and manage through to closure.
  • Maintain current and accurate knowledge of all program offerings, policies and procedures
• Account Management
  • Develop strategic partnerships to generate inquiries through webinars, onsite client events, and other lead generating activities.
  • Meet with key contacts to discuss strategic opportunities that include cohort programs, tailored learning and training opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a customized client strategy for assigned client portfolio with timelines and due dates
• Inquiry Generation
  • Participate in ongoing lead-producing activities with community partners, such as marketing campaigns, to generate interest in programs.
• Community Outreach
  • Engage with Community Organizations to position Herzing University within the community as a solution provider to workforce development issues.
  • Working with supervisors to proactively evaluate community sponsorship, engagement, and involvement opportunities for Herzing and recommends participation where appropriate.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree minimum
• Minimum two years of relevant experience working directly with businesses and community organizations.
• Prior experience in higher education partnership sales or providing service to this sector is preferred.
• Proven success in recruiting and building corporate partnerships.
• Experience doing presentations to small groups.
• Proven track record of building successful relationships.
