Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Psychotherapist (AODA Program) that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

Responsibilities:
  1. Working knowledge of the understanding and the objectives of alcohol and other drug abuse treatment as well as the different levels of service.
  2. Working knowledge of WI DHS 75 (AODA Services) and WI DHS 35 (Mental Health Services)
  3. Working knowledge of evidence-based practices in the field of alcohol and other drug abuse treatment.
  4. Provide weekly individual, group, and/or family AODA counseling services, under clinical supervision, and maintain regular contact and collaboration with the courts, physicians, hospitals, vocational rehabilitation and social services agencies, and other community groups to provide continuity of care.
  5. Participates in group therapy activities which assist both clients and family members in understanding and coping with alcohol and other drug abuse problems.
  6. Prepares detailed case records and reports in compliance with all applicable regulations and current state standards.
  7. Promote healthy personal and family relationships through education, exploration of relationship dynamics, and therapeutic intervention.
  8. Provide each client with a custom-designed treatment plan which will include measurable, realistic, and appropriate treatment goals, and outline specific therapeutic interventions utilized by the psychotherapist, ongoing assessment of progress, modifications when necessary, and aftercare planning.
  9. Continuously review client treatment plans and record therapy sessions with progress notes in an electronic health record. Ensure notes contain accurate and relevant information and stay within legal parameters.
  10. Document initial intake evaluations, treatment plans, treatment reviews, and discharge summaries in compliance with all applicable regulations and current state standards.
  11. Attend weekly clinical supervision sessions or group meetings.
  12. Consult with Behavioral Health team members on cases as needed.

Qualifications:
  1. Possess a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or psychology or nursing program.
  2. 3,000 hours post Master’s Degree for third party billing and possess a license to practice in the state of Wisconsin from the Department of Safety and Professional Services (LCSW or LPC)
  3. Possess State of Wisconsin Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor at the SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC level.
  4. Bilingual in Spanish/English with extensive knowledge of Hispanic culture is preferred.
