Senior Health Care (PBM/Pharmacy) Attorney - Multiple Office Locations
Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a senior PBM/Pharmacy attorney to join our premier Health Care Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience advising a variety of healthcare entities on complex federal and state health care regulatory and compliance matters, but with a significant emphasis and focus on health care laws governing pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers, Part D health plans and related parties and vendors. We are seeking a candidate with expertise in legal and regulatory advising, health policy strategy, government relations, contract drafting and negotiations, and compliance program development and implementation. Experience counseling health care clients in structuring business relationships and joint ventures to comply with federal and state regulations and licensing requirements is preferred. Our Health Care Practice Group represents hospitals and health systems, provider groups, pharmacy services providers, and innovative health care and life sciences entrepreneurs and investors across the United States. We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, highly motivated attorney with 7 or more years of experience to assist with advancing our long-term strategic objectives. A combination of AmLaw 100, in house, and government experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials, writing and communication skills, including the ability to converse with firm clients on a regular basis, are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar of the state in which the office of hire is located will be a condition of employment.
