Job Description
Renewable Energy Transactional Associate - Los Angeles or Milwaukee
Foley & Lardner is seeking an associate with 2-6 years of experience to join our Energy Team and Transactions Practice Group in our Los Angeles or Milwaukee offices. Our ideal candidate will have experience in representing and advising on renewable energy M&A and joint venture transactions, including preparing purchase and sale and joint venture and development agreements, negotiating transaction documents and managing due diligence and closing efforts. Strong drafting and project management skills are required. We have a thriving energy practice with aggressive growth plans, and we are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate, who is comfortable working with large and varied multi-disciplinary transactional teams across offices and with direct interaction with both senior attorneys and clients. Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic, coupled with a desire to be part of a fast-paced, growing and collaborative environment are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the state where the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the California or Wisconsin Bar, as applicable, will be a condition of employment.
