Using SAP, works from master schedules to ensure on time product delivery. Assists the supervisor to meet internal / external customer demands. Coordinates flow of material to support schedules. Insures conformance to quality standards. Maintains necessary computer generated records / reports. Requisitions material and/or initiates work orders as necessary. Enforces all company safety rules. Fills in for employees when necessary and appropriate. Trains and instructs employees as necessary. Troubleshoots emerging production oriented problems as they arise on the floor. Maintains clean, safe and orderly work area. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
(A) The candidate must be qualified to perform the duties of the occupation and to perform the physical, mental and visual requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner. (B) Maintain a pace that is consistent to meet production standards. (C) Requires the ability to work from general instructions to understand the plan sequence of diversified operations. (D) Frequently handles 6-50 lbs. while standing. (E) Responsible for directing the flow of work within the department. (F) Requires the ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse group of people. (G) Ability to instruct. (H) Ability to follow instructions. (I) Willingness to work overtime and/or flexible hours when it is deemed necessary. (J) Committed to the safety/ergonomics program of the company. (K) Committed to enforcing all company policies and procedures.
