Quality Manager

Job Purpose: The Quality Manager develops, implements, and manages technical quality assurance systems and activities inclusive of Q3K, ISO 13485, TL 9000/ISO 9000-2000, Training, Six Sigma, 5S; analyzes quality data and defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of products.

Nature of Duties:

• Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff.
• Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
• Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Education and Experience:

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management
• 5 - 8 years of experience with 2-3 years in a Quality Management role, preferably in a high tech manufacturing environment
• Full knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 auditing
• Must haveexperience with ISO 13485
