Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Quality Control Coordinator that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

General Statement of Duties:
The QI Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and implementing quality improvement initiatives using best practice strategies to assist with achieving the goals of high quality, cost effective patient care and service. 

Responsibilities:
  1. Supports data driven decision making by identifying appropriate process and outcome measures, data collection needs, performing data analysis and understanding data trends.  This includes an evaluation of benchmarks to be used in goal setting.
  2. Utilizes data to measure current performance, monitor progress, evaluate performance, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.   Assists with recognition of high cost, high volume clinical or administrative process improvement opportunities.
  3. Coordinates and facilitates QI Initiatives aligned to the annual QI Plan including the process documentation to sustain standardized processes.
  4. Coordinates multidisciplinary quality improvement initiatives to support the accomplishment of improvement goals identified.   Implement highly reliable, consistent, and standardized processes with outcomes that are measurable and sustainable.
  5. Supports and mentors’ organizational QI learning.  Assist leaders in driving improvement through the use of performance improvement tools and development of action plans. 
  6. Promotes cross-departmental communication, collaboration, and performance improvement as a means of achieving cost-effective, high quality care.
  7. Uses statistical techniques to analyze and display clinical data using measurement tools and systems, as appropriate.
  8. Maintains organizational quality improvement initiative list to enhance internal communications.
  9. Assists with the identification and facilitation of service line quality plans.
  10. Partners with others to ensure current workflows support the reporting and quality needs of the organization. 
  11. Coordinates the development of process documentation for QI, key organizational dashboard, UDS, and other external reporting.

Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of Associates Degree (or equivalent years of experience) in Healthcare-related field, Bachelors preferred.
  2. At least 3-5 years of clinical experience, RN preferred.
  3. At least 3-5 years of previous performance improvement and/or quality experience including PDSA and Lean preferred
  4. Knowledge of entire MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Visio is a plus.
  5. Proficient in the use of the internet, SharePoint, Teams, and email applications.
  6. Understanding of clinical workflow processes.
  7. Knowledge of medical practice management applications.
  8. Willingness and ability to adapt to change, including advances in technology.
