External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.Your Role:The Plant Process Engineering Manager will lead a group of process engineers whoevaluate, designand configurechemical production processes for multiple manufacturing plants. The Manager will not only lead the team but be actively involved in projects, programs and initiatives which drive safety, efficiency and technology. You will work with external equipment manufacturers, consultants, trade associations and industry experts to upgrade existing processes and controls to state of the art condition. This position requires working with cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, operations, planners, EHS experts,commercial project managersand site management as well as group functions such as Procurement, Controlling and HR. This position will also be responsible for technical aspects of Process Safety Management for the facility.Additional Responsibilities:Lead cross-functionalteams to develop project requirements, scope documents, deliverables and success criteriaDocument team activities and project outcomes in accordance with site and industry best practiceEvaluate internal customer requirements, applicable codes and standards, policies andprocedures to provide a thorough design basis, assumptions, calculations, drawings and specifications as necessaryDevelop annual budgets for department and provide input to annual capital project budget process.Develop staff through coaching, mentoring and training. Maintain a highly engaged department. Represent the department as part of the site management teamWho You Are: Minimum qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is required. An advanced degree is desirableA minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical process engineering in an industrial settingPreferred qualifications:Experience in utilization of chemical engineering principles and application of advanced technical skillsExperience with process industry analytics, evaluation and modeling software as well asquality tools such as SPC, Gage R, DOEA fundamental understanding of quality systems and requirements.ISO standards, semiconductor and pharmaceutical industry practice knowledgeis desirableThoroughknowledge of process safety and formal Process Safety Management regulations.Excellent communication, problem-solving, project management and people management skills are necessaryWhat we offer: With us, there are always opportunities to break new ground.
