Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Finance Specialist. The ideal candidate will be collaborative and self-motivated with responsibilities for processing a suite of financial models for municipal and county government, promoting the products and presenting the output. This newly created position offers the right candidate the opportunity to build this new platform from the ground up. As a Public Finance Specialist, you will:Prepare various financial analysis using in-house modelsSeek out process improvementWork directly with municipal and county officialsPeriodically present to municipal and county governing bodiesPeriodically present at seminars/webinarsCollaborate with team members to develop and implement a marketing planEstablish and maintain meaningful contacts across our client-baseMonitor legislative changes that impact municipal & county budgetsQUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:Bachelor's degree with minimum 10 years of industry experienceSeries SIE, 50, 52 and 63 licensed or willing to obtain license within 12 monthsStrong mathematical, statistical, computational, analytical and research abilitiesAdvanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with an emphasis on Excel.
