Description:

The Global Services Instructional Designer role is responsible for global development of technical training for Channel Partners, customer-facing employees and customers tasked with supporting Healthcare products. Will interface with Global Program Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service Lifecycle and Technical experts to develop technical training solutions that ensure compliance and promote career growth through curricula anchored in standard work requirements and designed to support tiered service deliver models.

Key Responsibilities/essential functions include:
Assess Global Services training needs to support new and existing products, employing Job Duty Task Analyses data and thorough needs analysis to identify critical knowledge, skills and abilities.
Create project plans in project management tool based on estimated effort and business requirements that are linked to Engineering/Manufacturing timelines and the Phase Review Discipline process.
Execute project plans to ensure course requirements are met and course development is completed on time.
Solicit and integrate input from stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure courses meet business needs.
Identify and select instructional and delivery strategies appropriate to meet the Service need, leveraging technology and distance learning applications to deliver state-of-the-art training.
Write course design documents, learning objectives, course content, scenarios, media scripts, practice activities, and posttests.
Design and develop high-quality course materials to meet training needs, drawing from existing curricula where appropriate.
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
Define, create, and implement assessments that measure training effectiveness
Identify key training materials to be utilized in performance support tools.
Lead team initiatives as needed.
Identify and select instructional and delivery strategies appropriate to meet the service need, leveraging break-through technology, simulation, virtual machines and distance learning applications to deliver state-of-the-art training.
Generate and foster connections to modality engineering plans and requirements
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
Identify key training materials to be utilized in performance support tools.

Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Education, Communication, Engineering, or a related field or Associates Degree and 4+ year s related experience, or a High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years experience in the field.
Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, progressive, and transformational environment.
Ability to effectively interact with engineers and comprehend highly technical content.
Excellent time & project management skills, including the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and fluctuating deadlines.
Proven excellence in written and verbal communication.
Adaptable/Flexible: open to change and able to adapt to new information, changing timelines and priorities
Develop and maintain working familiarity with Environment Health and Safety requirements and/or other applicable regulatory requirements.
Prompt and studious professional with a desire to contribute to organizational success.

Desired Characteristics
Coursework in instructional design, adult education principles, training design and delivery techniques
Experience in creating technical training materials for adult learning in multi-media delivery environments, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Manufacturing or field service experience on Healthcare imaging or devices products.
Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
Demonstrated leadership skills.
