To provide assistance with the general operations of the Thrift Store through customer service and relations.
* Retail Sales Experience preferred
* Grade 12 or relative experience.
* Good interpersonal skills
* Good verbal and written skills.
* Work with minimal supervision
* Neat in appearance and bondable.
* Physical effort required: The incumbent needs to be capable of lifting up to 10 pounds
* Willing to subscribe fully to The Salvation Army mission / ethics / values.

PLEASE NO PHONE CALLSSERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES: -Morning cash duties -Bathroom duties -Clean curio, jewelry cases and mirrors in fitting rooms -Sort and hang used clothing -Stock and organize merchandise on shelves and display racks -Service customers inquires -Process sales transactions -Close off daily sales on register -Ensure store is neat & tidy throughout the day -Assist with daily bank deposits. -End of day clean up duties -Position requires a moderate amount of lifting/ sorting/ loading/ unloading donated goods. -Must be willing to ask for assistance when lifting more than 10lbs.
