Our Quality intern will work directly with the Quality Manager and will partake in various quality related projects. This role will allow interns to put classroom concepts to practice in a real manufacturing environment and will allow them to make an impact at Woodway.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 procedures and policies
- Learn to operate company ERP system (Epicor) to facilitate improvement projects and data analytics.
- Nonconforming disposition and cost relative to cost of quality.
- Work with leadership and assembly workers to improve quality.
- Document current projects and maintain project timelines.
- Assist in implementation of preventive and corrective actions and other changes.
- Create work instructions for undocumented procedures
- Demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm to work on projects assigned.
And Specifications
- Process oriented individual
- Good computer skills; proficiency in Excel a plus
- Self-motivated, ready to learn.
- Passionate for continuous improvement
- Demonstrates critical thinking and innovative, effective problem-solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Working towards a bachelor's degree
- Available full time over the summer, approximately 40 hours per week
