Job Description
Description The Loss Preventions Officer's (LP) primary responsibility and role is to identify, observe, and apprehend individuals committing external thefts within their assigned stores. Each LP is expected to maintain a high degree of professionalism in the execution of his or her duties including all written and oral communication with store personnel, outside agencies (Law Enforcement), and their Loss Prevention Manager. Job Duties * Monitoring CCTV camera systems at retail establishments and walking store aisles to prevent theft * Identifying, detaining, and questioning suspected shoplifters * Presenting a professional image for both our company and the client's security department * Observing and reporting incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, police/public safety authorities as appropriate * Writing detailed reports of any incidents and unusual activity occurring during your scheduled shift * Contribute to overall shortage reduction * Provide superior customer service to store customers and employees Job Requirements/ Qualifications * Must be able to pass criminal background check and qualify for a Wisconsin Security License * Must be able to stand/ walk sales floor for entire scheduled shift * Must be willing to travel to multiple locations * Must possess strong written, communication, and verbal skills to prepare case paperwork and testify in court proceedings as a representative of SPI * 1-2 years of retail experience preferred * Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays * Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff and management Benefits * Holiday and Vacation Pay * Weekly Paychecks * Free Uniforms and Equipment * Paid Orientation and Training * Breckpoint MEC Health Insurance * Employee Referral Program * Aflac Dental, Short-Term Disability, and Accident Insurance Who we are Established in 1971, Security Personnel Inc.
