The company is the largest manufacturer of industrial trucks in Europe, the second-largest producer of forklifts globally and a leading provider of warehouse automation.The RoleDematic Corp. has an immediate need for an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Process Improvement Leader. The EHS Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for process improvement projects to increase the quality and performance of the Environmental, Health and Safety function of Dematic.Key Responsibilities: Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides process improvement methodology, coaching, and training to associates and team members who are participating in EHS process improvement projects. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to include EHS, Installation, Customer Service, Engineering and Manufacturing in the identification, research, and implementation of process improvements to drive an effective and meaningful Safety Culture throughout Dematic. Leads projects of significant scope to include Behavior Based Safety and Safety Culture improvement initiatives. Manages/facilitates internal EHS process improvement projects with team members who work across regional and enterprise-wide organizational structures and with external parties (providers and trade organizations) to formulate a consensus on improvements and to implement Best in Class systems, policies, and procedures. Initial focus will be assisting Installation teams in NA.What We Are Looking ForEducation: Bachelor'sDegree inEnvironmental, Health and Safety or related field.Experience: Experience in development and implementation of Behavioral Based Safety processes in a Manufacturing and/or Construction environment. Experience and responsible for leading Safety in Construction. Requires 8-10+ years in EHS Management. Passionate in driving a Best in Class Safety Culture. Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.Knowledge: Working knowledge of EHS ISO Management Systems. Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through completion of complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamentalconcepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
