Job Description
DescriptionGate Attendants are responsible for controlling access to each store's outdoor product yard. The guard will verify that each guest enters and leaves with the correct quantity and merchandise that was purchased. This process will be done in an efficient manner while handling other yard traffic such as deliveries, returns, and freight haulers. It is the guard's duty to ensure that all guests are treated politely.Job Duties* Run the guard shack at a major retail store* Control access to customers entering and exiting the lumber yard* Verify that customers leaving the yard have the correct product and correct amount of product by matching the merchandise to the receipt* Enter any errors into the tablet* Walk perimeter of the yard to make sure there are no customers left at end of shift* Attention to detail and basic knowledge of building materialsJob Requirements/ Qualifications* This position requires one to work outdoors, pay attention to detail, and practice great customer service* Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays* Clear criminal background and able to qualify for a Wisconsin Security License* Proficient in using a tablet and/ or smart phone* Ability to maintain exceptional attendance and punctuality* Must understand and comply with client rules and regulations* Strong communication and customer service skills* Reliable transportationBenefits* Holiday and Vacation Pay* Weekly Paychecks* Free Uniforms and Equipment* Paid Orientation and Training* Breckpoint MEC Health Insurance* Employee Referral Program* Aflac Dental, Short-Term Disability, and Accident InsuranceWho we areEstablished in 1971, Security Personnel Inc.
