*Remedy Intelligent Staffing is currently hiring for 2nd Shift, Maintenance Mechanics for our valued client in Delavan. Apply today to be considered for this great Direct Hire career opportunity! **Shift:* 2nd Shift, 3:00pm - 1:30am, Monday - Thursday!* *4 day work week!**Pay:* $30.00 - $33.00 - *Depends on experience**Job Duties of the Maintenance Mechanic:** Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings* Practice proper LOTO procedures* Practice proper GMP guidelines* Demonstrate troubleshooting and proper repair methods for all mechanical/electrical equipment in a high speed packaging environment* Demonstrate light fabrication and welding skills including MIG and TIG welding* Ability to rebuild packaging equipment to manufacturer's recommendations* Ability to replace and install threaded pipe, copper piping (soldered and compression fittings) and PVC as required* Certified to operate industrial forklifts and associated equipment* Hands-on experience in a processing and high-speed packaging in the food industry is a plus!* Excellent inter-personal skills and be able to effectively communicate with a cooperative team environment* Ability to work independently* Knowledge of documenting activities* *Benefits:** Medical* Dental* Vision* On-Site Medical Clinic - Free healthcare and certain prescriptions for employees and spouses* Company Paid Life Insurance* Company Paid Short-Term Disability* Optional Life Insurance* 401k - 3% company match with additional 4% profit sharing after one year of service* 9 paid holidays - Includes 1 floating holiday, which is a birthday holiday to be taken in the month of the birthday* 2 Weeks vacation after one year of service* Lots of 3-day weekends
