Leader of the Durable Goods and Advanced Packaging (AP) Product Line Team. Member of the Durable Goods Steering Committee, and Advanced Packaging Steering Committee. Job dimensions * Approximately 200M$ of revenue , 1000 customers, located in the US and Canada, including approximately 200 distributors belonging to diversified channels such as MRO, specialty industrial, packaging, marine, wholesalers, construction and private label. * Approximately eight industrial markets covering aerospace, automotive, general transportation, packaging, tape and label, specialty assembly and construction component applications. * Approximately 17 product lines with a large proportion being manufactured at 6 different Bostik US facilities and 15% being outsourced through tier parties or Bostik affiliates. * Responsible for leading business operations, delivering annual operational financial targets, reducing cost to serve, improving service levels, and integrating acquisitions. * Direct team is a team of six people. Activities * Lead and manage the Business Operations Team (BOT). Deliver on the financial targets for the Business Operations Team affecting both the DG and AP business units * Negotiate with stakeholders in both business units and prioritize projects based on available resources to deliver annual results. * Optimize the business operations to support the business growth strategies for both the Durable Goods (DG) and Advanced Packaging (AP) business units. * Ensure continuous improvement of business operations. Reduce the cost to serve and improve service levels to customers. * Oversee the integration of regional acquisitions into the business operations of the DG and AP businesses * Collaborate with DG and AP Business Directors on strategic projects for the business * Coordinate across regions with other business operational roles where globalized approaches are beneficial and share best practices * Communicate with other functional leaders to drive progress and remove barriers for team members * Create monthly reports on progress towards annual goals, participate in monthly RCG meetings (business results report meetings) * Lead Product Line Management (PLM) experts to develop product line and pricing strategies and initiatives. Ensure implementation in alignment with the DG and AP business strategies. Support the execution of these plans to grow profitable revenue. Additional responsibilities under PLM include: * Facilitate Direct Purchasing and Supply Chain collaboration * Lead cost savings (LEAP) initiatives * Build long-term demand plans to support CAPEX Projects * Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA, EPA guidelines, and Bostik-specific EHS expectations Context and environment The job involves a significant level of complexity coming from the internal matrixed environment as well as balancing support with shared resources for two business units with different priorities. Collaboration with team members in remote work locations. Additional complexity comes from the diversity of industrial market segments (8) and product lines (17), served through direct OEM and distribution channels. It covers a wide spectrum of market value from disposable, semi-commodity applications in Rigid Packaging to durable, highly technical applications in Aerospace. The job involves aligning with cross-functional leaders, directors, business team members, and global leaders. Accountabilities * Like other AP and DG Business Team Members, this role co-owns the budgeted EBITDA * Accountable for annual BOT financial targets (variable and fixed cost savings, margin improvement projects, etc) * Accountable for business operations strategy, continuous improvement in business operations, reducing cost to serve, and improving service levels to customers * Accountable for margin management through pricing, product mix, and cost savings Qualifications / experience required * Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or equivalent work experience in a comparable position required * Minimum ten years of proven experience in technical, operational, and business roles, preferably in Adhesives or Specialty Chemicals industry * Minimum five years of experience directly managing a team and leading cross-functional projects * Excellent communication skills in cross-functional, multinational business environments * Excellent organization and planning skills, creative problem-solving and task prioritization abilities, attention to detail * Strong desire to win, highly motivated, fast pace execution * Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office * Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time Date : Date : Job Holder : Signature : Manager Approval: Signature : Job Segment: Manager, Environmental Health & Safety, Supply, Supply Chain, PLM, Management, Healthcare, Operations
