This is a full time, permanent Stainless Steel Manufacturing Process Engineer opportunity at a company that has doubled in size in the last seven years and has recently been named Manufacturer of the Year. There is a lot of variety to this position and this person will not do the same thing day after day. This position will start in the easier value stream and move into a more technical and complex value stream. From there, this person could move into the even more complex, specialty assembly lines. If interested, the career path could be more project oriented or more managerial oriented. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Maintaining and enhancing manufacturing processes
• Maximizing quality, production and safety while minimizing scrap
• Utilizing lean manufacturing tools
• Taking a lead role in corrective action and continuous improvement projects
• Creating time standards, work standards and assembly instructions
• Determining root cause
• Training others
• Working with a variety of employees

The background of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Four or more years of stainless steel manufacturing environment experience
• Two or more years of Solidworks experience
• Four or more years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
• A four year Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree
