Position Summary:

Seeking the Seeker of Rockstars! This rockstar will provide day-to-day support and recruitment management to ensure an exceptional candidate experience and to assist in expediting the recruiting process overall. This person will focus on finding the best candidates to support our growing National Outside Sales Team, and our HQ based Sales positions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Business Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs with a proactive mindset
  • Utilize creative recruiting strategies and methods for generating talent pipeline of passive candidates
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market networking and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates; anticipate hiring manager preferences by maintaining low interview-to-offer ratios; build pipeline of candidates for all positions, regardless of whether or not there is an active opening
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implement any new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fit within Delta's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for a variety openings
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
  • Create job descriptions and make recommendations to revise existing job descriptions to accurately depict each position to attract top talent
  • Identify qualified candidates by posting positions, screening resumes, conducting, coordinating and participating in interviews, administering and interpreting company assessments, and communicating with candidates and hiring managers regarding status of positions and candidates
  • Successfully meet recruiting goals and metrics and assist in the creation and maintenance of Talent Acquisition metric reporting
  • Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure recruiting goals are achieved
  • Represent Delta Defense positively throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle and communicate employer information and benefits during the recruiting process
  • Stay current on the company's organization structure, personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment and recruiting practices
  • Serve as a liaison with area programs, colleges, and industry associations and participate in job fairs, online sources, career fairs, and advertising/marketing initiatives
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team, peers, and cross-functional partners (Compensation, HR, Systems and Programs teams, etc.)
  • Complete administrative functions as they relate to the recruiting process - prepare offer letters, capture documentation of candidates during interview processes, send rejection letters, post open positions, and maintain applicant tracking system (ATS), maintain records in accordance with record keeping requirements

Skills/Abilities and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in a fast paced, high volume recruiting environment, using an applicant tracking system (ATS), sourcing passive candidates, and interviewing across full life cycle recruiting activities
  • Passive candidate search experience is required
  • Previous HR team experience is preferred
  • Expertise using social media tools for attracting, marketing, engagement, networking, and sourcing.
  • Experience providing excellent service for clients and candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and peers within the organization both within and across geographical markets.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws with regards to full life cycle recruiting is required
  • Strong communication skills and organizational skills are a must
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer branding in the marketplace, candidate management, and interview process management
  • Self-sufficient with demonstrated skills in full life cycle recruiting
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the human resources team
  • Understand and adhere to confidentiality and properly handling of sensitive information.
