Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing the training and work of students, LTE's and classified employees assigned in their area.The salary range for this position is $13.65 - $15/hour.Minimum Qualifications* Demonstrated experience preparing flower beds, planting flowers, and related maintenance* Demonstrated experience using lawn equipment (lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)* Demonstrated experience in commercial lawn maintenance* Must possess a valid Driver license with a driving record that meets the minimum criteria for driving a state vehiclePreferred Qualifications* Demonstrated experience designing and laying out flower beds in relationship to the surroundings* Associates degree or higher in horticulture, landscaping, turf management, botany or related* Demonstrated experience driving a snowplow (as installed on a pickup truck)* Demonstrated experience working with plant cultivars* Demonstrated experience using herbicides and fertilizersApplication InstructionsApplicants are highly encouraged to utilize the cover letter to thoroughly address your experience (including dates of employment) or applicable coursework as it relates specifically to the minimum and preferred qualifications listed above.
