Jefferson County is an Equal Opportunity Employer');newwindow.document.close();">Apply NowJefferson County-s Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program within the Human Services department provides a flexible array of individualized community based psycho-social rehabilitation services for consumers with mental health or substance abuse issues across their lifespan. The goal of the program is to assist the consumer in increasing resilience, reducing the impact that their trauma history, mental health, and/or substance abuse disorder plays in their life, and assisting in their journey of recovery.The CCS team seeks a detail oriented and organized Administrative Assistant II to provide a wide range of mid-level administrative and office support activities in order to facilitate efficient operations to best meet the needs of their clients.Position Summary: To be successful in this position, you will be focusing on the below responsibilities:- Perform general clerical and customer service duties such as answering phones, greeting the public, answering general questions, processing mail and ordering supplies.- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars essential for meeting critical deadlines and timeframes.- Create, update and complete a variety of documents, including memos, letters, forms and reports. May also transcribe case manager notes and proofread/edit client evaluations.- Perform note monitoring for programs; ensures accuracy and quality assurance.- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of client activity of admissions, discharges, and current numbers.- Review and communicate Emergency Mental Health (EMH) log entries to appropriate personnel for case management- Variety of other important tasks needed with details provided on the posted job descriptionQualifications: Qualifications Needed:- High school diploma or equivalent with one to two years- experience and/or training required; or an Associate degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceQualifications Preferred:- Three years related experience and/or training
