This challenging role gives the intern an opportunity to work with executives and get a unique perspective of the entire business. Get a chance to learn and make an impact to business by analyzing budget, actual, and forecast data sets, while bringing forth new ideas along with process improvements to the table. If you are a dedicated, motivated individual who wants to use their accounting and finance knowledge on a daily basis - this is the right job for you.This role is a year round opportunity.Essential Duties: Prepare monthly departmental expense/variance reports and analysis Prepare weekly inventory reporting dashboard Prepare weekly executive dashboard for senior management Assist with updating budget and forecast models to provide insight on previous, current, and future status of financial data to executives Assist with internal month-end financial book preparation Assist with internal month-end supplemental reporting and analysis Assist with preparation of monthly P by market and product line reporting and analysis Provide monthly profitability data to product managers Complete other projects as assigned Minimal Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of sophomore year status Conscientious, self-motivated worker with attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a group setting Dependable and organized Knowledge: Microsoft Excel experience "We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law."
