Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join us at our Drives business in our Milwaukee, WIlocation in the US. Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Participates in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations issues, anticipates problems whenever possible, and develops, recommends, and initiates appropriate steps for resolution.
* Supports contingent, hourly and salary recruiting, and staffing initiatives where needed.
* Handles employee relations counseling, stay and exit interviews; analyzes data and makes recommendations to management for corrective action and improvements.
* Assists in the evaluation of reports and results of the HR team in relation to established goals.
* Supports local Reward and Recognition initiatives.
* Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures supporting the continuous improvements in efficiency of the team and the HR services provided.
* Supports the Sr. HR Manager in the management of production areas
* Make recommendations/proposals to hourly compensation strategy aligned to business objectives and goals.
* Administer and coordinates various human resources plans and procedures and assists in the development, implementation and review of local policies and procedures.
* Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and standard operating procedures.
* Maintains employment records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO/AAP/ADA regulations and requirements.
* Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting HR management and business trends in the HR field.

To be considered for this position, you will need the following:
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
* Minimum 3 years progressive HR generalist work experience
* Flex work schedule to support employees and managers on off-shifts on a regular basis
* Previous HR generalist experience focus in employee relations
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility/environment
* PHR or SPHR certification preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
* Able to objectively consult and coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues
* Demonstrates an ability to research and analyze various types of data to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems by using judgment that is consistent with the standards, practices, polices, procedures, regulations, or law
* Demonstrate the ability to prioritize projects
* Demonstrates an ability to get results with a sense of urgency
